Road transfers

From Hoedspruit (also called Eastgate) Airport to the camp and return are free of charge. Road transfers from Johannesburg (airport and hotels within 5km radius) to the camp and return cost R695.00 (approx US$90) per person each way. The transfer leaves the airport/hotels at 6am and arrives at the camp at 11am. The return leaves at 12pm and returns to the airport at 6pm. These transfers can be booked with our reservations office.

Please note

  • Children under 12 pay 50% of the adult rate. Children over 12 pay the full adult rate.
  • Rates are quoted per person per night.
  • No single supplement applies to single guests.
  • Rates are quoted in South African Rands and are subject to change without prior notice. Rates include government taxes where applicable. If taxes increase, we reserve the right to increase the rate accordingly.

Rates Include

  • All meals
  • Game walks & game drives
  • Teas & coffees
  • Return road transfers from Hoedspruit Airport
  • Medivac insurance

Rates Exclude

  • Drinks
  • Conservation and gate fees (please see below for details)
  • All items of a personal nature
  • Any item not described above

Gate fees & Conservation fees payable direct at the camp

  • R100 per person Klaserie conservation fee. Can be paid via credit card at the camps.
  • R120 per room gate fee for entering through the Timbavati gate if we do pickups for you from either of Hoedspruit Airport or Bones Bush Pub. Can be paid via credit card direct at the camps.
  • R60 per vehicle fee if self drive through Incheni gate. The R60 needs to be paid in cash at the gate.

Please note that self drive guests must fill in a form at the Timbavati Main Control gate and mention they are self driving to the Klaserie to avoid paying the Timbavati per person and per vehicle fees.

Children Policy

Children from age 5 years and over are accepted. The age limit on walking safaris is 16 years. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 years will be taken on morning game “bumbles” or drives (depending on their age) while their parents enjoy their morning walking safaris.
