Africa on Foot Camp is located on the Ross Farm in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The Ross farm was bought by Tien Prinsloo in 1948 and was originally used for hunting and family recreation. Tien had a great passion for wildlife and it was on Ross that he would spend weeks away from his family farm, enjoying long exciting adventures in the wilderness. His passion for nature was endless and this passion can still be seen today as his family, who along with Africa on Foot, own and manage the family’s incredible piece of Africa. The hunting days on Ross are long gone and today Africa on Foot guides guests on walking and photographic safaris.
Courtney Blunden has guided throughout South Africa including Madikwe Game Reserve, Sabi Sands Game Reserve, and now in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. He is a fully qualified guide and has the FGASA Level 3 SKS (Dangerous Game) qualification as well as years of guiding experience. As one of the guides and owners of Africa on Foot he aims to take his guests on unforgettable, soul fulfilling safaris that give guests a bush experience they will never forget!
Cecilia Oosthuizen is one of the owners of Africa on Foot. She is a keen environmentalist and has grown up on Ross (her family farm).
